UN Warns of Escalating Humanitarian Crisis in Darfur

The United Nations has issued a stark warning about the worsening humanitarian situation in Sudan’s Darfur region, as ongoing armed conflict continues to displace tens of thousands of civilians and claim countless lives.

According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the violent clashes have led to hundreds of casualties and mass displacement, pushing the region toward a severe humanitarian emergency.
